GMB would like to remind all members that they are entitled to be paid as if at work (PAIAW) if they are off sick on a public holiday that they were rostered to have worked.
Any member who was off sick on any of the recent Christmas or New Year public holidays should still have received the enhanced rate for these shifts. Please check your pay slips and if this has not happened you are advised to raise this with your local management and advise your local GMB Rep ASAP.
