GMB Scotland in SAS: No Confidence
GMB reps from across the country met together on Thursday 30 March.
They discussed the ongoing situation on national collective matters and what they are experiencing locally.
The feedback was the same from everyone, they have lost faith in management to resolve issues in a fair and appropriate manner.
GMB has collective grievances that have been left unresolved for months.
We are now seeing managers go rogue around casework doing what they want and not following policies.
This is not good enough and we expect GMB members across the ambulance service to be treated in a fair and decent manner.
We have written to Scottish Ambulance Service to make our position on what is happening clear.
We will be writing to you again later this week as we try to gauge your opinion on how the service is being managed at the moment.
