GMB reps met on teams on 10th July to discuss a proposal from the Service on overtime guidance. While it was agreed among them that constructive, consistent guidance would be helpful if applied across the country, this draft is not fit for purpose.General consensus is that this draft is not fair and equitable and restricts workers ability to chose when to do overtime shifts.GMB will make the SAS service aware of our position.Please contact your local rep in the first instance with any comment or concerns you may have.RegardsKaren LeonardGMB Scotland Organiser
