GMB Scotland in NHS & SAS: Your 2024/25 Pay Offer
Today, Tuesday 20 August, Scottish Government have made a formal pay offer to you following our last negotiation meeting yesterday.
The offer is for 5.5% increase, you can see it in full here.
It is a one year pay deal, the 5.5% will flow through to all allowances and there are no terms & conditions reforms attached to the offer.
Your reps met this afternoon to discuss the proposal and we will begin a consultative ballot next week. We will inform you of the consultative ballot arrangements over the coming days.
The offer from Scottish Government meets the main objective of the pay claim. You were clear to us in your survey that you wanted a one year deal that was above inflation which this offer provides.
